Meals & Lodging Guidelines
Important details to help our family plan smoothly for our days together in Stone Mountain and Atlanta.
Reunion Fee Covers 3 Shared Meals
$60 for each attendee aged 6 and older covers Friday night dinner, Saturday celebration dinner, and Sunday morning brunch. Children aged 5 and under attend free (please include in headcount).
Additional Family Expenses
Attendees are responsible for their own hotel lodging, family reunion T-shirts, and personal sightseeing or excursion expenses.
Honoring the Legacy We Inherited
We believe this reunion will be life-changing for current and future generations. This is a time to learn more about our history and the legacy our ancestors entrusted to us. They were God-fearing, hardworking, courageous, and resilient. They set goals, remained focused, and endured many hardships with determination.
Through their perseverance, they built a foundation for future generations and created a legacy we can appreciate, strengthen, and build upon.
Our ancestors were landowners who farmed cotton, grew vegetable gardens, canned fruits and vegetables, and raised livestock. While working outside of the home, they also prepared breakfast and dinner every day for their families along with managing other household responsibilities.
Outside of the home, they were skilled workers in many areas such as: teachers, bricklayers, carpenters, pipeline laborer, professional cooks, maids and caretakers.
